I've been reserving judgment on the whole point of Twitter for several months, but have now come to a decision: It's a really cool way for Soak Up Living to send out quick highlights on the best and brightest news and video moments around the world tied to good living and the tireless pursuit of simple pleasures.
When people ask me why I started the Soak Up Living network, I tell them it started out as my own personal escape from the realities of life. Mental escape from an unsatisfying job, from the atrocities that haunt the global news services, from the menial demands of life. Now, I find myself intrigued by all of the sources of beauty and entertainment that exist on the planet and the ways in which people try to help each other improve the quality of each others' lives. Soak Up Living lets me bring those moments to you.
